Who remain among the graves, and lodge among the monuments, who eat swine’s flesh, and broth of abominable things is in their vessels;

Those who sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the midst, eating swine’s flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, says the LORD.

He that kills an ox is as if he slew a man; he that sacrifices a lamb, as if he cut off a dog’s neck; he that offers an offering, as if he offered swine’s blood; he that burns incense, as if he blessed an idol. Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delights in their abominations.

Whatever parts the hoof, and is clovenfooted, and chews the cud, among the animals, that shall you eat.

Or if a soul touches any unclean thing, whether it be a carcass of an unclean beast, or a carcass of unclean cattle, or the carcass of unclean creeping things, and if it be hidden from him; he also shall be unclean, and guilty.

Nevertheless these you shall not eat of them that chew the cud, or of them that divide the cloven hoof; the camel, and the hare, and the coney: for they chew the cud, but do not divide the hoof; therefore they are unclean to you.

These you shall eat of all that are in the waters: all that have fins and scales shall you eat:

But it has happened to them according to the true proverb, The dog has turned back to his own vomit; and the sow that was washed has returned to her wallowing in the mire.
