For the land, to which you go in to possess it, is not like the land of Egypt, from which you came out, where you sowed your seed, and watered it with your foot, like a garden of vegetables:

I have dug, and drunk water; and with the sole of my feet have I dried up all the rivers of the besieged places.

And I brought you into a plentiful country, to eat the fruit thereof and the goodness thereof; but when you entered, you defiled my land, and made my heritage an abomination.

And if the family of Egypt do not go up, and do not come, that have no rain; there shall be the plague with which the LORD will strike the heathen that do not come up to keep the feast of tabernacles.

But the land, to which you go to possess it, is a land of hills and valleys, and drinks water of the rain of heaven:

And that you may prolong your days in the land, which the LORD swore to your fathers to give to them and to their descendents, a land that flows with milk and honey.

For the LORD your God brings you into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and springs that flow out of valleys and hills;
