And I instructed your judges at that time, saying, Hear the causes between your people, and judge righteously between every man and his brother, and the stranger that is with him.

That would be far from you to do in this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked: and that the righteous should be as the wicked, that would be far from you: Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?

You shall not oppress a hired servant that is poor and needy, whether he be of your people, or of your strangers that are in your land within your gates:

If there be a controversy between men, and they come unto judgment, that the judges may judge them; then they shall justify the righteous, and condemn the wicked.

And Moses instructed the people the same day, saying,

And the LORD said to Moses, Behold, your days approach that you must die: call Joshua, and present yourselves in the tabernacle of the congregation, that I may give him instruction. And Moses and Joshua went, and presented themselves in the tabernacle of the congregation.

As you know how we exhorted and comforted and instructed every one of you, as a father does his children,

I solemnly instruct you before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, and the elect angels, that you observe these things without preferring one before another, doing nothing by partiality.

Instruct those who are rich in this world, that they be not proud, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy;
