And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the offering to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that which is determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvelous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that which is determined shall be done.

And from the time that the daily service shall be taken away, and the abomination that makes desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.

And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.

Then I heard one saint speaking, and another saint said to that certain saint which spoke, How long shall be the vision concerning the daily service, and the transgression of desolation, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot?

For the children of Israel shall remain many days without a king, and without a prince, and without a sacrifice, and without an image, and without an ephod, and without teraphim:

One golden spoon of ten shekels, full of incense:

When you therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (he who reads, let him understand:)

For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

And, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from the top to the bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks split;

But when you shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him who reads understand,) then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains:

And when you shall see Jerusalem surrounded with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is near.

And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down by the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.

And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Zion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:

But not like the offense, so also is the free gift. For if through the offense of one many are dead, much more have the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, abounded for many.

For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and to those who look for him shall he appear the second time without sin for salvation.
