And it came to pass the third day, which was Pharaoh’s birthday, that he made a feast to all his servants: and he lifted up the head of the chief butler and of the chief baker among his servants.

In the third year of his reign, he made a feast for all his princes and his servants; the might of Persia and Media, the nobles and princes of the provinces, being before him:

And in that day the Lord GOD of hosts called to weeping, and to mourning, and to baldness, and to wearing sackcloth:

And it was revealed in my ears by the LORD of hosts, Surely this iniquity shall not be cleansed away from you till you die, says the Lord GOD of hosts.

A sword is upon the Chaldeans, says the LORD, and upon the inhabitants of Babylon, and upon her princes, and upon her wise men.

When they are inflamed I will make their feasts, and I will make them drunk, that they may rejoice, and sleep a perpetual sleep, and not wake, says the LORD.

And I will make drunk her princes, and her wise men, her captains, and her rulers, and her mighty men: and they shall sleep a perpetual sleep, and not wake, says the King, whose name is the LORD of hosts.

In that night was Belshazzar the king of the Chaldeans slain.

For while they are twined together like thorns, and while they are drunken like drunkards, they shall be devoured like stubble fully dry.
