Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the form of his face was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego: therefore he spoke, and commanded that they should heat the furnace seven times more than it was accustomed to be heated.

And he commanded the most mighty men that were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, and to throw them into the burning fiery furnace.

Then the king’s appearance was changed, and his thoughts troubled him, so that the joints of his loins were loosed, and his knees struck one against another.

And the king commanded, and they brought those men who had accused Daniel, and they threw them into the den of lions, them, their children, and their wives; and the lions had the mastery of them, and broke all their bones in pieces before they even came to the bottom of the den.

And if you will not yet for all this listen to me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins.

And if you walk contrary to me, and will not listen to me; I will bring seven times more plagues upon you according to your sins.

Then will I also walk contrary to you, and will punish you yet seven times for your sins.

Then I will walk contrary to you also in fury; and I, even I, will chastise you seven times for your sins.

When they heard that, they were cut to the heart, and took counsel to slay them.

When they heard these things, they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed at him with their teeth.
