Daniel 3:10Lighthouse Bible 2006You, O king, have made a decree, that every man that shall hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of music, shall fall down and worship the golden image: See the chapter |
Now if you be ready that at the time you hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of music, you fall down and worship the image which I have made; well: but if you do not worship, you shall be thrown the same hour into the midst of a burning fiery furnace; and who is that God who shall deliver you out of my hands?
Then they came near, and spoke before the king concerning the king’s decree; Have you not signed a decree that every man who shall ask a petition of any God or man within thirty days, except of you, O king, shall be thrown into the den of lions? The king answered and said, The thing is true, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which does not change.
