Bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.
The discretion of a man delays his anger; and it is his glory to pass over a transgression.
But I say to you, Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who despitefully use you, and persecute you;
And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
And when you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone: that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil.
Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his garments, and cast lots.
Therefore receive one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God.
To whom you forgive anything, I forgive also: for if I forgave anything, to whom I forgave it, for your sakes I forgave it in the person of Christ;
By pureness, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, by the Holy Spirit, by genuine love,
Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.
With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love;
And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake has forgiven you.
And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us, and has given himself for us as an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling fragrance.
Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, merciful compassion, kindness, humility of mind, meekness, longsuffering;
For he shall have judgment without mercy that has shown no mercy; and mercy rejoices against judgment.
For even to this were you called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow his steps:
