The thoughts of the wicked are an abomination to the LORD: but the words of the pure are pleasant words.

Ho, every one who thirsts, come ye to the waters, and he who has no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.

Then Daniel answered and said before the king, Let your gifts be for yourself, and give your rewards to another; yet I will read the writing to the king, and make known to him the interpretation.

I will bring it forth, says the LORD of hosts, and it shall enter into the house of the thief, and into the house of him who swears falsely by my name: and it shall remain in the midst of his house, and shall consume it with the timber thereof and the stones thereof.

Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely you have received, freely give.

For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:

Now this man purchased a field with the reward of iniquity; and falling headlong, he burst apart in the midst, and all his bowels gushed out.

And those of the circumcision who believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Seeing then that God gave them the same gift as he did to us, who believed in the Lord Jesus Christ; who was I, that I could withstand God?

Then Peter said to them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Saying, Give me also this power, that on whomever I lay hands, he may receive the Holy Spirit.

Repent therefore of this your wickedness, and pray to God, if perhaps the thought of your heart may be forgiven you.

Beware that there be not a thought in your wicked heart, saying, The seventh year, the year of release, is at hand; and your eye be evil against your poor brother, and you give him nothing; and he cries unto the LORD against you, and it be sin unto you.

Neither shall you bring an abomination into your house, lest you be a cursed thing like it: but you shall completely detest it, and you shall completely abhor it; for it is a cursed thing.

But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.

Your gold and silver is spoiled; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh like fire. You have heaped treasure together for the last days.

The merchants of these things, who were made rich by her, shall stand afar off for fear of her torment, weeping and wailing,
