This is he, that was in the church in the wilderness with the angel who spoke to him in the mount Sinai, and with our fathers: who received the living oracles to give to us:
In all their affliction he was afflicted, and the angel of his presence saved them: in his love and in his pity he redeemed them; and he bore them, and carried them all the days of old.
This Moses whom they refused, saying, Who made you a ruler and a judge? the same did God send to be a ruler and a deliverer by the hand of the angel who appeared to him in the bush.
Who are Israelites; to whom belong the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service of God, and the promises;
What then is the purpose of the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the offspring should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.

For when by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again what are the first principles of the things spoken by God; and have become such as have need of milk, and not of strong food.
If anyone speaks, let him speak like a messenger of God; if anyone ministers, let him do it as with the ability which God gives: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
