But I say to you, That whoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whoever shall say to his brother, Good for nothing, shall be in danger of the council: but whoever shall say, You fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.

And as soon as it was day, the elders of the people and the chief priests and the scribes came together, and led him into their council, saying,

On the next day, because he would have known the true reason for which he was accused by the Jews, he loosed him from his bands, and commanded the chief priests and all their council to appear, and brought Paul down, and set him before them.

And when they had brought them in the midst, they asked, By what power, or by what name, have you done this?

And when they heard that, they entered into the temple early in the morning, and taught. But the high priest came, and those who were with him, and called the council together, and all the senate of the children of Israel, and sent to the prison to have them brought.

Then there stood up one in the council, a Pharisee, named Gamaliel, a doctor of the law, held in reputation among all the people, and commanded to put the apostles outside for a little while;

And they stirred up the people, and the elders, and the scribes, and came upon him, and caught him, and brought him to the council,
