And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.
Truly, truly, I say to you, He who believes in me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go to my Father.
You have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and appointed you, that you should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatever you shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it to you.
For a long time therefore they remained speaking boldly in the Lord, who gave testimony to the word of his grace, and granted signs and wonders to be done by their hands.
Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marveled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.
According to my earnest expectation and my hope, that in nothing shall I be ashamed, but that with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether it be by life, or by death.
