Cry aloud, spare not, lift up your voice like a trumpet, and show my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins.

Look down from heaven, and behold from the habitation of your holiness and of your glory: where is your zeal and your strength, the pleading of your sympathy and of your mercies toward me? are they restrained?

Till the LORD looks down, and beholds from heaven.

Remember, O LORD, what has come upon us: consider, and behold our reproach.

And you, son of man, be not afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns be with you, and you dwell among scorpions: be not afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house.

But truly I am full of power by the spirit of the LORD, and of judgment, and of might, to declare to Jacob his transgression, and to Israel his sin.

Then Paul and Barnabas grew bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you: but seeing you put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles.

For a long time therefore they remained speaking boldly in the Lord, who gave testimony to the word of his grace, and granted signs and wonders to be done by their hands.

And he went into the synagogue, and spoke boldly for three months, disputing and persuading the things concerning the kingdom of God.

For the king knows of these things, before whom also I speak freely: for I am persuaded that none of these things are hidden from him; for this thing was not done in a corner.

Preaching the kingdom of God, and teaching those things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ, with all confidence, no man forbidding him.

Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marveled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.

So when they had further threatened them, they let them go, finding no way to punish them, because of the people: for everyone glorified God for that which was done.

And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.

But Barnabas took him, and brought him to the apostles, and declared to them how he had seen the Lord on the way, and that he had spoken to him, and how he had preached boldly at Damascus in the name of Jesus.

And he was with them coming in and going out at Jerusalem.

Therefore let him that speaks in an unknown tongue pray that he may interpret.

Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech:

And many of the brethren in the Lord, growing confident by my bonds, are much more bold to speak the word without fear.

But even after we had suffered before, and were shamefully treated, as you know, at Philippi, we were bold in our God to speak to you the gospel of God with much opposition.

Nevertheless the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me; that by me the preaching might be fully known, and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.
