Now it came to pass on a certain day, that he went into a boat with his disciples: and he said to them, Let us go over to the other side of the lake. And they launched out.

Now when they had passed through Amphipolis and Apollonia, they came to Thessalonica, where there was a synagogue of the Jews:

And the whole city was filled with confusion: and having caught Gaius and Aristarchus, men of Macedonia, Paul’s companions in travel, they rushed with one accord into the theatre.

And when we had completed those days, we departed and went our way; and they all brought us on our way, with wives and children, till we were out of the city: and we knelt down on the shore, and prayed.

Who also honored us with many honors; and when we departed, they provided us with such things as were necessary.

And landing at Syracuse, we stayed there three days.

And when we came to Rome, the centurion delivered the prisoners to the captain of the guard: but Paul was permitted to dwell by himself with a soldier that kept him.

And the uncivilized people showed us no little kindness: for they kindled a fire, and received us every one, because of the present rain, and because of the cold.

Aristarchus my fellow prisoner greets you, and Mark, cousin of Barnabas, (concerning whom you received instructions: if he comes to you, receive him;)
