And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed; it shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heel.

I the LORD have called you in righteousness, and will hold your hand, and will keep you, and give you for a covenant of the people, for a light to the Gentiles;

And he said, It is a light thing that you should be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give you for a light to the Gentiles, that you may be my salvation to the end of the earth.

And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplication: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourns for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.

Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, and against the man who is my fellow, says the LORD of hosts: strike the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered: and I will turn my hand to the little ones.

The Son of man goes as it is written of him: but woe to that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! It had been good for that man if he had not been born.

And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared to many.

A light to lighten the Gentiles, and the glory of your people Israel.

Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory?

And said to them, Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:

No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own will. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received from my Father.

Jesus said to her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he who believes in me, though he was dead, yet shall he live:

And concerning that he raised him up from the dead, now no more to return to corruption, he spoke in this way, I will give you the sure mercies of David.

To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith that is in me.

Why should it be thought a thing incredible with you, that God should raise the dead?

But those things, which God before had shown by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ would suffer, he has so fulfilled.

Yea, and all the prophets from Samuel and those that follow after, as many as have spoken, have likewise foretold of these days.

For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;

In whom the god of this world has blinded the minds of those who do not believe, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.

And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

For it was fitting for him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons to glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.

And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first born from the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. To him who loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,
