For the Sadducees say that there is no resurrection, neither angel, nor spirit: but the Pharisees confess both.
The same day came to him the Sadducees, who say that there is no resurrection, and asked him,

And when he had so said, there arose a dissension between the Pharisees and the Sadducees: and the multitude was divided.
And as they spoke to the people, the priests, and the captain of the temple, and the Sadducees, came upon them,
Now if Christ is preached that he rose from the dead, how can some say among you that there is no resurrection of the dead?
