And the next day we who were of Paul’s company departed, and came to Caesarea: and we entered into the house of Philip the evangelist, who was one of the seven; and stayed with him.

There was a certain man in Caesarea called Cornelius, a centurion of the band called the Italian band,

And after he had seen the vision, immediately we endeavored to go into Macedonia, assuredly concluding that the Lord had called us to preach the gospel to them.

And on the sabbath we went out of the city by a river side, where prayer was habitually made; and we sat down, and spoke to the women who came there.

And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us, who brought her masters much gain by fortune telling:

And when he had landed at Caesarea, and gone up, and greeted the church, he went down to Antioch.

And we went ahead to the ship, and sailed to Assos, there intending to take in Paul: for so had he appointed, intending himself to go on foot.

And we sailed away from Philippi after the days of unleavened bread, and came to them to Troas in five days; where we stayed seven days.

There went with us also certain of the disciples of Caesarea, and brought with them one Mnason of Cyprus, an old disciple, with whom we should lodge.

And he called to him two centurions, saying, Make ready two hundred soldiers to go to Caesarea, and seventy horsemen, and two hundred spearmen, at the third hour of the night;

And when it was determined that we should sail into Italy, they delivered Paul and certain other prisoners to one named Julius, a centurion of Augustus’ band.

And after three months we departed in a ship of Alexandria, which had wintered in the isle, whose sign was Castor and Pollux.

And when we came to Rome, the centurion delivered the prisoners to the captain of the guard: but Paul was permitted to dwell by himself with a soldier that kept him.

And the saying pleased the whole multitude: and they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Spirit, and Philip, and Prochorus, and Nicanor, and Timon, and Parmenas, and Nicolas a proselyte from Antioch:

Which when the believers knew, they brought him down to Caesarea, and sent him away to Tarsus.

And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;

But you should be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of your ministry.
