And there sat in a window a certain young man named Eutychus, having fallen into a deep sleep: and as Paul was long preaching, he sunk down with sleep, and fell down from the third loft, and was taken up dead.

And he said to her, Give me your son. And he took him out of her bosom, and carried him up into a loft, where he stayed, and laid him upon his own bed.

Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.

And the spirit cried out, and convulsed him severely, and came out of him: and he was as one dead; so that many said, He is dead.

And certain Jews from Antioch and Iconium came there, who persuaded the people, and, having stoned Paul, took him out of the city, supposing he was dead.

And Paul went down, and fell on him, and embracing him said, Do not trouble yourselves; for his life is in him.

And on the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached to them, ready to depart on the next day; and continued his speech until midnight.

And there were many lights in the upper chamber, where they were gathered together.
