And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.

However many of those who heard the word believed; and the number of the men was about five thousand.

Then sent Joseph, and called his father Jacob to him, and all his kindred, seventy five souls.

Let every soul be subject to the higher authorities. For there is no authority but from God: the authorities that exist are appointed by God.

And you became followers of us, and of the Lord, having received the word in much affliction, with joy of the Holy Spirit:

Which at one time were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was being built, in which a few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.

And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became like the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea.
