And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and overcame them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded.
And they came to Jesus, and saw him who was possessed with the devil, and had the legion, sitting, and clothed, and in his right mind: and they were afraid.
(For he had commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the man. For oftentimes it had caught him: and he was kept bound with chains and in fetters; and he broke the bands, and was driven by the devil into the wilderness.)
Then they went out to see what was done; and came to Jesus, and found the man, out of whom the devils had departed, sitting at the feet of Jesus, clothed, and in his right mind: and they were afraid.
While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for by whom a person is overcome, by the same is he brought in bondage.
