Then certain of the wandering Jews, exorcists, took it upon themselves to call over those who had evil spirits the name of the Lord Jesus, saying, We solemnly command you by Jesus whom Paul preaches.

When you till the ground, it shall not henceforth yield to you its strength; a fugitive and a wanderer shall you be in the earth.

Behold, you have driven me out this day from the face of the earth; and from your face shall I be hid; and I shall be a fugitive and a wanderer in the earth; and it shall come to pass, that every one that finds me shall slay me.

And the king said to him, How many times shall I order you that you tell me nothing but that which is true in the name of the LORD?

Let his children be continually vagabonds, and beg: let them seek their bread also out of their desolate places.

And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your children cast them out? Therefore they shall be your judges.

And John answered him, saying, Master, we saw one casting out devils in your name, and he does not follow us: and we forbade him, because he does not follow us.

And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your sons cast them out? Therefore shall they be your judges.

And John answered and said, Master, we saw one casting out devils in your name; and we forbade him, because he does not follow with us.

And there were seven sons of one Sceva, a Jew, and chief of the priests, who did so.

For if he who comes preaches another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if you receive another spirit, which you have not received, or another gospel, which you have not accepted, you might well put up with it.

And Joshua strictly instructed them at that time, saying, Cursed be the man before the LORD, that rises up and builds this city Jericho: he shall lay the foundation thereof in his firstborn, and in his youngest son shall he set up the gates of it.

And the men of Israel were distressed that day: for Saul had strictly directed the people, saying, Cursed be the man that eats any food until evening, that I may be avenged on my enemies. So none of the people tasted any food.
