But when they persecute you in this city, flee into another: for truly I say to you, You shall not have gone through all the cities of Israel, till the Son of man has come.

And the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night to Berea: who coming there went into the synagogue of the Jews.

And those who accompanied Paul brought him to Athens: and receiving a commandment to Silas and Timothy to come to him with all speed, they departed.

And some of them believed, and associated with Paul and Silas; and of the devout Greeks a great multitude, and of the chief women not a few.

And when they did not find them, they took Jason and certain believers to the rulers of the city, crying out, These who have turned the world upside down have come here also;

And when Silas and Timothy came from Macedonia, Paul was burdened in the spirit, and testified to the Jews that Jesus was Christ.

So he sent into Macedonia two of those who ministered to him, Timothy and Erastus; but he himself stayed in Asia for a season.

And there stayed three months. And when the Jews laid wait for him, as he was about to sail into Syria, he decided to return through Macedonia.

Then the disciples took him by night, and let him down by the wall in a basket.

Which when the believers knew, they brought him down to Caesarea, and sent him away to Tarsus.

As I pleaded with you to remain longer at Ephesus, when I went into Macedonia, that you might instruct some that they teach no other doctrine,

For this reason I left you in Crete, that you should set in order the things that are lacking, and ordain elders in every city, as I had directed you:

And she said to them, Depart to the mountain, lest the pursuers meet you; and hide yourselves there three days, until the pursuers be returned: and afterward you may go your way.
