Now those who were scattered abroad in the persecution that arose concerning Stephen traveled as far as Phoenicia, and Cyprus, and Antioch, preaching the word to no one but to the Jews only.

And some of them were men of Cyprus and Cyrene, who, when they came to Antioch, spoke to the Grecians, preaching the Lord Jesus.

And in these days came prophets from Jerusalem to Antioch.

Then it pleased the apostles and elders, with the whole church, to send chosen men of their own company to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas; namely, Judas surnamed Barsabas, and Silas, chief men among the believers:

Which when they had read, they rejoiced for the consolation.

And as they went through the cities, they delivered to them the decrees to keep, that were decided by the apostles and elders which were at Jerusalem.

What then should be done? The multitude will certainly come together: for they will hear that you have come.

Who, when they came to Caesarea, and delivered the letter to the governor, presented Paul also before him.

Then the twelve called the multitude of the disciples to them, and said, It is not right that we should leave the word of God, and serve tables.
