And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shone in the prison: and he struck Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Rise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands.

And this shall be a sign to you, You shall eat this year that which grows of itself; and the second year that which grows from it: and in the third year sow, and reap, and plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them.

Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon you.

The word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD, after Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard had let him go from Ramah, when he had taken him being bound in chains among all that were taken away captive of Jerusalem and Judah, which were taken away captive to Babylon.

And immediately the angel of the Lord struck him, because he did not give God the glory: and he was eaten by worms, and gave up the ghost.

And when Herod would have brought him out, the same night Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains: and the guards before the door watched the prison.

And the angel said to him, Dress yourself, and put on your sandals. And so he did. And he said to him, Put your garment around you, and follow me.

And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one’s bonds were loosed.

Whom God has raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be held by it.

But the angel of the Lord by night opened the prison doors, and brought them out, and said,

And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shone round about him a light from heaven:

Therefore he says, Awake you who sleep, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give you light.

Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for those who shall be heirs of salvation?

And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory.
