And when he looked at him, he was afraid, and said, What is it, Lord? And he said to him, Your prayers and your gifts have come up for a memorial before God.
Then hear thou from the heavens, even from your dwelling place, and do according to all that the stranger calls to you for; that all people of the earth may know your name, and fear you, as do your people Israel, and may know that this house which I have built is called by your name.
I have not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth: I did not say to the children of Jacob, Seek me in vain: I the LORD speak righteousness, I declare things that are right.
And he said to me, O Daniel, a man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak to you, and stand upright: for unto you am I now sent. And when he had spoken this word to me, I stood trembling.
And he shall bring it to Aaron’s sons the priests: and he shall take from it his handful of the flour thereof, and of the oil thereof, with all the frankincense thereof; and the priest shall burn the memorial of it upon the altar, to be an offering made by fire, of a sweet savor unto the LORD:
Then those who feared the LORD spoke often one to another: and the LORD listened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for those who feared the LORD, and who thought upon his name.
Truly I say to you, Wherever this gospel shall be preached in the whole world, there shall also this, that this woman has done, be told for a memorial of her.
And I said, What shall I do, Lord? And the Lord said to me, Arise, and go into Damascus; and there it shall be told to you all things which are appointed for you to do.
But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received from Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you, a fragrance of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, well pleasing to God.
For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labor of love, which you have shown toward his name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister.
