Not that which goes into the mouth defiles a man; but that which comes out of the mouth, this defiles a man.

Because it does not enter into his heart, but into the belly, and goes out into the drain, cleansing away all food?

This was done three times: and the vessel was received up again into heaven.

And he said to them, You know how it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to keep company, or come to one of another nation; but God has shown me that I should not call any man common or unclean.

But the voice answered me again from heaven, What God has cleansed, do not call that common.

But that we write to them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood.

That you abstain from foods offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication: from which if you keep yourselves, you shall do well. Farewell.

And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith.

I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that there is nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteems anything to be unclean, to him it is unclean.

Do not destroy the work of God over food. All things indeed are pure; but it is evil for that man who eats and brings stumbling.

Whatever is sold in the meat market, that eat, asking no question for conscience’ sake:

To the pure all things are pure: but to those who are defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.

And the winepress was trodden outside the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even to the horses’ bridles, for a distance of sixteen hundred city block lengths.
