Truly, truly, I say to you, He who believes in me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go to my Father.
Then this saying went out among the believers, that that disciple would not die: yet Jesus did not say to him, He shall not die; but, If I choose that he remains till I come, what is that to you?
And when he had found him, he brought him to Antioch. And it came to pass, that for a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught many people. And the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch.
But he, beckoning to them with his hand to hold their peace, declared to them how the Lord had brought him out of the prison. And he said, Go tell these things to James, and to the believers. And he departed, and went into another place.
And being brought on their way by the church, they passed through Phoenicia and Samaria, declaring the conversion of the Gentiles: and they caused great joy to all the believers.
And when they did not find them, they took Jason and certain believers to the rulers of the city, crying out, These who have turned the world upside down have come here also;
And Paul after this remained there yet a good while, and then took his leave of the believers, and sailed from there into Syria, and with him Priscilla and Aquila; having cut off his hair in Cenchrea: for he had a vow.
And when he was disposed to pass into Achaia, the brethren wrote, exhorting the disciples to receive him: who, when he came, helped them much who had believed through grace:
And when they heard it, they glorified the Lord, and said to him, You see, brother, how many thousands of Jews there are who believe; and they are all zealous for the law:
As also the high priest bears me witness, and all the order of the elders: from whom also I received letters to the Jewish brethren, and went to Damascus, to bring those who were there bound to Jerusalem, to be punished.
And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the rest were frightened, and gave glory to the God of heaven.
