And as John fulfilled his course, he said, Whom do you think that I am? I am not he. But, behold, there comes one after me, whose shoes of his feet I am not worthy to untie.
But none of these things move me, neither do I count my life dear to myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry which I have received from the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.
And I went up by revelation, and communicated to them that gospel which I preach among the Gentiles, but privately to those who were of good reputation, lest by any means I should run, or had run, in vain.
This charge I commit to you, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which came beforehand concerning you, that you by them might wage a good warfare;
