Let it rest on the head of Joab, and on all his father’s house; and let there not fail from the house of Joab one that has an outflow from his body, or that is a leper, or that leans on a staff, or that falls on the sword, or that lacks bread.

And David said to him, Your blood be upon your head; for your mouth has testified against you, saying, I have slain the LORD’S anointed.

Now Naaman, captain of the army of the king of Syria, was a great man with his master, and honored, because by him the LORD had given deliverance to Syria: he was also a mighty man in valor, but he was a leper.

The leprosy therefore of Naaman shall cling to you, and to your descendents for ever. And he went out from his presence a leper as white as snow.

I will praise the LORD according to his righteousness: and will sing praise to the name of the LORD most high.

If he rises again, and walks abroad upon his staff, then shall he that struck him be free: only he shall pay for the loss of his time, and shall cause him to be thoroughly healed.

Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them, When any man has a flowing discharge out of his flesh, because of his discharge he is unclean.

So you shall not pollute the land in which you are: for blood defiles the land: and the land cannot be cleansed of the blood that is shed therein, but by the blood of him that shed it.

And when the natives saw the venomous beast hang on his hand, they said among themselves, No doubt this man is a murderer, whom, though he has escaped the sea, yet vengeance did not permit to live.

And all the elders of that city, that are nearest to the slain man, shall wash their hands over the heifer that is beheaded in the valley:

For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and you have given them blood to drink; for they are deserving.

That the cruelty done to the seventy sons of Jerubbaal might come, and their blood be laid upon Abimelech their brother, who slew them; and upon the men of Shechem, who aided him in the killing of his brethren.
