And he went through all the tribes of Israel to Abel, and to Beth-maachah, and all the Berites: and they were gathered together, and went also after him.
And they came and besieged him in Abel of Beth-maachah, and they built a mound next to the city, and it stood inside the protected area: and all the people that were with Joab battered the wall, to throw it down.
So Ben-hadad heard and consented to king Asa, and sent the captains of the armies which he had against the cities of Israel, and struck Ijon, and Dan, and Abel-beth-maachah, and all Cinneroth, with all the land of Naphtali.
