For this is he who was spoken of by the prophet Isaiah, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.

And the child grew, and became strong in spirit, and was in the solitary places till the day of his revealing to Israel.

When Jesus had spoken these words, he went out with his disciples over the brook Cedron, where a garden was, into which he entered, and his disciples.

Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep.
