And the king said, Is not the hand of Joab with you in all this? And the woman answered and said, As your soul lives, my lord the king, none can turn to the right hand or to the left from anything that my lord the king has spoken: for your servant Joab, he told me, and he put all these words in the mouth of your handmaid:

And when the woman of Tekoah spoke to the king, she fell on her face to the ground, and showed him respect, and said, Help, O king.

And I sent them with instruction for Iddo the chief at the place Casiphia, and I told them what they should say to Iddo, and to his brethren the temple servants, at the place Casiphia, that they should bring to us ministers for the house of our God.

And you shall speak to him, and put words in his mouth: and I will be with your mouth, and with his mouth, and will teach you what you shall do.

And I have put my words in your mouth, and I have covered you in the shadow of my hand, that I may plant the heavens, and lay the foundations of the earth, and say to Zion, You are my people.

As for me, this is my covenant with them, says the LORD; My spirit that is upon you, and my words which I have put in your mouth, shall not depart out of your mouth, nor out of the mouth of your children, nor out of the mouth of your children’s children, says the LORD, from this time on and for ever.

Then the LORD put forth his hand, and touched my mouth. And the LORD said to me, Behold, I have put my words in your mouth.

And the LORD put a word in Balaam’s mouth, and said, Return to Balak, and thus you shall speak.

I will raise up for them a Prophet from among their people, like unto you, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak to them all that I shall command him.
