And David said to Uriah, Go down to your house, and wash your feet. And Uriah departed out of the king’s house, and there followed him a meal of food from the king.
And he said, Behold now, my lords, turn in, I pray you, into your servant’s house, and stay all night, and wash your feet, and you shall rise up early, and go on your ways. And they said, Nay; but we will remain in the street all night.
And he took and sent portions to them from before him: but Benjamin’s portion was five times so much as any of theirs. And they drank, and were merry with him.
And he turned to the woman, and said to Simon, Do you see this woman? I entered into your house, you gave me no water for my feet: but she has washed my feet with tears, and wiped them with the hairs of her head.
Neither is there any creature that is not clearly visible in his sight: but all things are naked and opened to the eyes of him with whom we have to do.
