And it came to pass at the seven years’ end, that the woman returned out of the land of the Philistines: and she went forth to cry to the king for her house and for her land.
And he said to him, Say now to her, Behold, you have taken care of us with all this thoughtfulness; what is to be done for you? would you like to be spoken for to the king, or to the captain of the army? And she answered, I dwell among my own people.
And the woman arose, and did according to the saying of the man of God: and she went with her household, and sojourned in the land of the Philistines seven years.
And when the king asked the woman, she told him. So the king appointed to her a certain officer, saying, Restore all that was hers, and all the fruits of the field since the day that she left the land, even until now.
Therefore she went forth out of the place where she was, and her two daughters in law with her; and they went on the way to return to the land of Judah.
