And it happened one day, that Elisha passed to Shunem, where was a godly woman; and she constrained him to eat bread. And so it was, that as often as he passed by, he turned in there to eat bread.
And he urged them greatly; and they turned in unto him, and entered into his house; and he made them a feast, and did bake unleavened bread, and they did eat.
Now Barzillai was a very aged man, even eighty years old: and he had provided the king sustenance while he lay at Mahanaim; for he was a very great man.
His possessions also were seven thousand sheep, and three thousand camels, and five hundred yoke of oxen, and five hundred female donkeys, and a very great household; so that this man was the greatest of all the men of the east.
For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Spirit, even from his mother’s womb.
And when she was baptized, and her household, she pleaded with us, saying, If you have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come into my house, and stay there. And she constrained us.
