Now the rest of the people that were left in the city, and the fugitives that deserted to the king of Babylon, with the remnant of the multitude, did Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard take away.

Now these are the children of the province that went up out of the captivity, of those which had been taken away, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had taken away to Babylon, and came back to Jerusalem and Judah, every one to his city;

That our oxen may be strong to labor; that there be no breaking in, nor going out; that there be no complaining in our streets.

Therefore thus says the LORD; Behold, I will give this city into the hand of the Chaldeans, and into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and he shall take it:

Then Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard took away captive into Babylon the remnant of the people that remained in the city, and those that fell away, that deserted to him, with the rest of the people that remained.

Now in the fifth month, in the tenth day of the month, which was the nineteenth year of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, came Nebuzaradan, captain of the guard, who served the king of Babylon, into Jerusalem,

Then Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard took away captive certain of the poor of the people, and the rest of the people that remained in the city, and those who fell away, who deserted to the king of Babylon, and the rest of the multitude.

In the twenty third year of Nebuchadnezzar Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard took away captive of the Jews seven hundred forty five persons: all the persons were four thousand six hundred.

Say, I am your sign: as I have done, so shall it be done to them: they shall depart and go into captivity.

And all his fugitives with all his bands of people shall fall by the sword, and those who remain shall be scattered toward all winds: and you shall know that I the LORD have spoken it.

You shall burn with fire a third part in the midst of the city, when the days of the siege are fulfilled: and you shall take a third part, and strike around it with a knife: and a third part you shall scatter in the wind; and I will draw out a sword after them.

The LORD shall bring you, and your king which you shall set over you, to a nation which neither you nor your fathers have known; and there shall you serve other gods, wood and stone.
