And Isaiah said to them, Thus shall you say to your master, Thus says the LORD, Be not afraid of the words which you have heard, with which the servants of the king of Assyria have blasphemed me.

And the king of Assyria sent Tartan and Rab-saris and Rab-shakeh from Lachish to king Hezekiah with a great army against Jerusalem. And they went up and came to Jerusalem. And when they had come up, they came and stood by the conduit of the upper pool, which is in the highway of the field of laundry.

Neither let Hezekiah make you trust in the LORD, saying, The LORD will surely deliver us, and this city shall not be delivered into the hand of the king of Assyria.

Who are they among all the gods of the countries, that have delivered their country out of my hand, that the LORD should deliver Jerusalem out of my hand?

Whom have you reproached and blasphemed? and against whom have you exalted your voice, and lifted up your eyes on high? even against the Holy One of Israel.

So the servants of king Hezekiah came to Isaiah.

And he answered, Fear not: for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.

And he said, Listen, all Judah, and you inhabitants of Jerusalem, and you king Jehoshaphat, Thus says the LORD to you, Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God’s.

You shall not need to fight in this battle: take your places, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them: for the LORD will be with you.

Remember this, that the enemy has reproached, O LORD, and that the foolish people have blasphemed your name.

Do not forget the voice of your enemies: the tumult of those that rise up against you increases continually.

And Moses said to the people, Fear not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will show to you today: for the Egyptians whom you have seen today, you shall see them again no more for ever.

Therefore thus says the Lord GOD of hosts, O my people that dwell in Zion, be not afraid of the Assyrian: he shall strike you with a rod, and shall lift up his staff against you, after the manner of Egypt.

Listen to me, you that know righteousness, the people in whose heart is my law; do not fear the reproach of men, neither be afraid of their reviling.

And said to them, Thus says the LORD, the God of Israel, to whom you sent me to present your supplication before him;

You drew near in the day that I called upon you: you said, Fear not.

And five of you shall chase a hundred, and a hundred of you shall put ten thousand to flight: and your enemies shall fall before you by the sword.

When you go out to battle against your enemies, and see horses, and chariots, and a people more than you, be not afraid of them: for the LORD your God is with you, which brought you up out of the land of Egypt.

And the LORD said to Joshua, Be not afraid because of them: for tomorrow about this time will I deliver them up all slain before Israel: you shall hamstring their horses, and burn their chariots with fire.

And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and those who dwell in heaven.
