Therefore, as you abound in everything, in faith, and speech, and knowledge, and in all diligence, and in your love to us, see that you abound in this grace also.
And I myself also am persuaded about you, my brethren, that you also are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also to instruct one another.
For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we are Jews or Gentiles, whether we are slaves or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.
And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not love, I am nothing.
Love never fails: but if there are prophecies, they shall pass away; if there are tongues, they shall cease; if there is knowledge, it shall vanish away.
For who makes you to differ from another? And what do you have that you did not receive? Now if you received it, why do you glorify yourself, as if you had not received it?
And not by his coming only, but by the consolation with which he was comforted in you, when he told us your earnest desire, your mourning, your fervent mind toward me; so that I rejoiced all the more.
We are under obligation to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is fitting, because your faith is growing exceedingly, and the love of every one of you all toward each other abounds;
Seeing you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit for genuine love of the brethren, see that you love one another with a pure heart earnestly:
Because you say, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and do not know that you are wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
