Even so would he have removed you out of distress into a wide place, where there is no trouble; and that which should be set on your table should be full of fatness.

When you go, your steps shall not be in difficulty; and when you run, you shall not stumble.

Better is the sight of the eyes than the wandering of the desire: this is also vanity and vexation of spirit.

But he who has this world’s goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his feelings of compassion from him, how does the love of God dwell in him?
