For though he was crucified through weakness, yet he lives by the power of God. For we also are weak in him, but we shall live with him by the power of God exercised towards you.
No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own will. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received from my Father.
And his name through faith in his name has made this man strong, whom you see and know: yea, the faith which is through him has given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.
Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
Therefore I take pleasure in weaknesses, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then I am strong.
