For this Hagar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and corresponds to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children.

Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the principles of the world:

But now, after you have known God, or rather are known by God, how can you turn back to the weak and impoverished principles, to which you desire again to be in bondage?

Stand firm therefore in the liberty with which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

I have confidence in you through the Lord that you will be none otherwise minded: but he that troubles you shall bear his judgment, whoever he is.

As many as desire to make a pleasing show in the flesh, they constrain you to be circumcised; but only so that they do not suffer persecution for the cross of Christ.

Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)
