Then will I pluck them up by the roots out of my land which I have given them; and this house, which I have sanctified for my name, will I cast out of my sight, and will make it to be a proverb and a disgrace among all nations.

For the LORD shall strike Israel, as a reed is shaken in the water, and he shall root up Israel out of this good land, which he gave to their fathers, and shall scatter them beyond the river, because they have made their groves, provoking the LORD to anger.

Then will I cut off Israel out of the land which I have given them; and this house, which I have hallowed for my name, will I cast out of my sight; and Israel shall be a proverb and a disgrace among all people:

And the LORD rejected all the people of Israel, and afflicted them, and delivered them into the hand of plunderers, until he had cast them out of his sight.

And they burnt the house of God, and broke down the wall of Jerusalem, and burnt all the palaces thereof with fire, and destroyed all the beautiful vessels thereof.

You make us a disgrace among the heathen, a shaking of the head among the people.

God shall likewise destroy you for ever, he shall take you away, and pluck you out of your dwelling place, and root you out of the land of the living. Selah.

But if they will not obey, I will completely pluck up and destroy that nation, says the LORD.

Therefore will I cast you out of this land into a land that you know not, neither you nor your fathers; and there shall you serve other gods day and night; where I will not show you favor.

At what time I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to pluck up, and to pull down, and to destroy it;

And many nations shall pass by this city, and they shall say every man to his neighbor, Why has the LORD done thus unto this great city?

And I will deliver them to be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth for their hurt, to be a reproach and a proverb, a taunt and a curse, in all places to which I shall drive them.

And it shall come to pass that as I have watched over them to pluck up, and to break down, and to throw down, and to destroy, and to afflict; so will I watch over them to build, and to plant, says the LORD.

In that you provoke me to wrath with the works of your hands, burning incense to other gods in the land of Egypt, to which you have gone to dwell, that you might cut yourselves off, and that you might be a curse and a reproach among all the nations of the earth?

Thus shall you say to him, The LORD says thus; Behold, that which I have built will I break down, and that which I have planted I will pluck up, even this whole land.

Therefore I will bring the worst of the heathen, and they shall possess their houses: I will also make the pomp of the strong to cease; and their holy places shall be defiled.

For if you turn away from following him, he will yet again leave them in the wilderness; and you shall destroy all this people.

And you shall become an astonishment, a proverb, and a disgrace, among all nations to which the LORD shall lead you.

And the LORD rooted them out of their land in anger, and in fury, and in great indignation, and cast them into another land, as it is this day.

These are spots in your love feasts when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried around by winds; trees whose fruit withers, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;
