Hear and grant therefore the supplications of your servant, and of your people Israel, which they shall make toward this place: hear thou from your dwelling place, even from heaven; and when you hear, forgive.

Then the priests the Levites arose and blessed the people: and their voice was heard, and their prayer came up to his holy dwelling place, even unto heaven.

If a man sins against his neighbor, and an oath be laid upon him to make him swear, and the oath comes before your altar in this house;

Then hear thou from the heavens, even from your dwelling place, their prayer and their supplications, and maintain their cause, and forgive your people which have sinned against you.

​Unto you I lift up my eyes, O you that dwell in the heavens.

Be not rash with your mouth, and let not your heart be hasty to speak any thing before God: for God is in heaven, and you upon earth: therefore let your words be few.

For so the LORD said to me, I will take my rest, and I will observe from my dwelling place like a clear heat upon herbs, and like a cloud of dew in the heat of harvest.

I, even I, am he who blots out your transgressions for my own sake, and will not remember your sins.

I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, your transgressions, and, as a cloud, your sins: return to me; for I have redeemed you.

For thus says the high and lofty One who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also who is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.

O Lord, hear; O Lord, forgive; O Lord, listen and act; do not delay, for your own sake, O my God: for your city and your people are called by your name.

Who is a God like you, who pardons iniquity, and passes by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he does not retain his anger for ever, because he delights in mercy.

And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

In this way you shall pray: Our Father who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
