Say to the king and to the queen, Humble yourselves, sit down: for your royal authority shall come down, even the crown of your glory.

It may be they will present their supplication before the LORD, and will return every one from his evil way: for great is the anger and the fury that the LORD has pronounced against this people.

At the same time my reason returned to me; and for the glory of my kingdom, my honor and splendor returned to me; and my counselors and my lords sought for me; and I was established in my kingdom, and excellent majesty was added to me.

I will go and return to my place, till they acknowledge their offense, and seek my face: in their affliction they will seek me early.

And said, I cried out because of my affliction to the LORD, and he heard me; out of the belly of hell I cried out, and you heard my voice.

The LORD’S voice cries out to the city, and the man of wisdom shall see your name: hear ye the rod, and who has appointed it.

And the Lord said to him, Arise, and go into the street which is called Straight, and inquire in the house of Judas for one called Saul, of Tarsus: for, behold, he is praying,

Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.
