And Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah made himself horns of iron: and he said, Thus says the LORD, With these shall you push back the Syrians, until you have consumed them.

And all the prophets prophesied so, saying, Go up to Ramoth-gilead, and prosper: for the LORD shall deliver it into the hand of the king.

Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, of Ahab the son of Kolaiah, and of Zedekiah the son of Maaseiah, who prophesy a lie to you in my name; Behold, I will deliver them into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon; and he shall slay them before your eyes;

Have you not seen a vain vision, and have you not spoken a lying divination, in that you say, The LORD says it; although I have not spoken?

And her prophets have daubed them with untempered mortar, seeing vanity, and divining lies to them, saying, Thus says the Lord GOD, when the LORD has not spoken.

Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, worthless concerning the faith.
