After these things the word of the LORD came to Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am your shield, and your exceeding great reward.

And David said to Solomon his son, Be strong and of good courage, and do it: fear not, nor be dismayed: for the LORD God, even my God, will be with you; he will not fail you, nor forsake you, until you have finished all the work for the service of the house of the LORD.

And, behold, Amariah the chief priest is over you in all matters of the LORD; and Zebadiah the son of Ishmael, the ruler of the house of Judah, for all the king’s matters: also the Levites shall be officers before you. Deal courageously, and the LORD shall be with the good.

Be strong and courageous, be not afraid nor dismayed for the king of Assyria, nor for all the multitude that is with him: for there are more with us than with him:

Moreover by them is your servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward.

Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.

So that a man shall say, Truly there is a reward for the righteous: truly he is a God that judges in the earth.

Thus says the LORD; Refrain your voice from weeping, and your eyes from tears: for your work shall be rewarded, says the LORD; and they shall come back from the land of the enemy.

And said, O man greatly beloved, fear not: peace be to you, be strong, yea, be strong. And when he had spoken to me, I was strengthened, and said, Let my lord speak; for you have strengthened me.

Thus says the LORD of hosts; Let your hands be strong, you who hear in these days these words by the mouth of the prophets, which were in the day that the foundation of the house of the LORD of hosts was laid, that the temple might be built.

Rejoice, and be exceedingly glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax collectors do the same?

Be careful that you do not do your giving before men, to be seen by them: otherwise you have no reward from your Father who is in heaven.

That you do not appear to men to fast, but to your Father who is in secret: and your Father, who sees in secret, shall reward you openly.

That your giving may be in secret: and your Father who sees in secret himself shall reward you openly.

But you, when you pray, enter into your closet, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees in secret shall reward you openly.

But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing back; and your reward shall be great, and you shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind to the unthankful and to the evil.

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, for you know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

Watch, stand fast in the faith, conduct yourselves like men, be strong.

If anyone’s work endures which he has built on it, he shall receive a reward.

Now he that plants and he that waters are one: and everyone shall receive his own reward according to his own labor.

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

Knowing that from the Lord you shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for you serve the Lord Christ.

Do not cast away therefore your confidence, which has great recompense of reward.

For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labor of love, which you have shown toward his name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister.

Be strong and of a good courage: for to this people shall you divide for an inheritance the land, which I swore to their fathers to give them.

Only be strong and very courageous, that you may observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded you: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may prosper wherever you go.

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be dismayed: for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.

Hebron therefore became the inheritance of Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenezite to this day, because he wholly followed the LORD God of Israel.

Look to yourselves, that we do not lose those things for which we have labored, but that we receive a full reward.

The LORD recompense your work, and a full reward be given you by the LORD God of Israel, under whose wings you have come to trust.
