Then said the princes of the Philistines, What are these Hebrews doing here? And Achish said to the princes of the Philistines, Is not this David, the servant of Saul the king of Israel, who has been with me these days, or these years, and I have found no fault in him since he came to me, to this day?

And there fell some of Manasseh to David, when he came with the Philistines against Saul to battle: but they did not help them: for the lords of the Philistines upon consultation sent him away, saying, He will fall to his master Saul to the jeopardy of our heads.

As he went to Ziklag, there fell to him of Manasseh, Adnah, and Jozabad, and Jediael, and Michael, and Jozabad, and Elihu, and Zilthai, captains of the thousands that were of Manasseh.

Then said these men, We shall not find any occasion against this Daniel, unless we find it against him concerning the law of his God.

When the chief priests therefore and officers saw him, they cried out, saying, Crucify him, crucify him. Pilate said to them, Take him yourselves, and crucify him: for I find no fault in him.

Repay no one evil for evil. Plan things honest in the sight of all men.

Having a good conscience; that, although they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed who falsely accuse your good conduct in Christ.

And both of them showed themselves to the garrison of the Philistines: and the Philistines said, Behold, the Hebrews come forth out of the holes where they had hid themselves.

I pray you, forgive the trespass of your handmaid: for the LORD will certainly make my lord a sure house; because my lord fights the battles of the LORD, and evil has not been found in you all your days.

And David said in his heart, I shall now perish one day by the hand of Saul: there is nothing better for me than that I should speedily escape into the land of the Philistines; and Saul shall despair of me, to seek me any more in any part of Israel: so shall I escape out of his hand.

And the time that David dwelt in the country of the Philistines was a full year and four months.

Then Achish called David, and said to him, Surely, as the LORD lives, you have been upright, and your going out and your coming in with me in the army is good in my sight: for I have not found evil in you since the day of your coming to me until this day: nevertheless the lords do not favor you.

And when the Philistines heard the noise of the shout, they said, What does the noise of this great shout in the camp of the Hebrews mean? And they understood that the ark of the LORD had come into the camp.
