That all of you have conspired against me, and there is none that shows me that my son has made an alliance with the son of Jesse, and there is none of you that is sorry for me, or shows me that my son has stirred up my servant against me, to lie in wait, as at this day?

And Jonathan said to David, Go in peace, seeing that we have sworn both of us in the name of the LORD, saying, The LORD be between me and you, and between my descendents and your descendents for ever. And he arose and departed: and Jonathan went into the city.

Therefore you shall deal kindly with your servant; for you have brought your servant into a covenant of the LORD with you: nevertheless, if there be in me iniquity, slay me yourself; for why should you bring me to your father?

And Saul said to him, Why have you conspired against me, you and the son of Jesse, in that you have given him bread, and a sword, and have inquired of God for him, that he should rise against me, to lie in wait, as at this day?

And Saul said, Blessed be you by the LORD; for you have compassion on me.
