Those who were full have hired out themselves for bread; and those who were hungry are hungry no more: so that the barren has borne seven; and she that has many children has become feeble.
Sing, O barren, you who did not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, you who did not labor in childbirth: for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, says the LORD.
She that has borne seven grows feeble: she has given up the ghost; her sun is gone down while it was yet day: she has been ashamed and perplexed: and the remainder of them will I deliver to the sword before their enemies, says the LORD.
