The adversaries of the LORD shall be broken to pieces; out of heaven shall he thunder upon them: the LORD shall judge the ends of the earth; and he shall give strength unto his king, and exalt the horn of his anointed.

The LORD thundered from heaven, and the most High uttered his voice.

He shall build a house for my name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom for ever.

Now therefore so shall you say to my servant David, Thus says the LORD of hosts, I took you from the sheepfold, from following the sheep, to be ruler over my people, over Israel:

Have you an arm like God? or can you thunder with a voice like him?

There will I make the horn of David to bud: I have ordained a lamp for my anointed.

He also exalts the horn of his people, the praise of all his saints; even of the children of Israel, a people near to him. Praise ye the LORD.

The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,

Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.

You shall break them with a rod of iron; you shall dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.

Now I know that the LORD saves his anointed; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand.

Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God.

​The king shall joy in your strength, O LORD; and in your salvation how greatly shall he rejoice!

The LORD is their strength, and he is the saving strength of his anointed.

You love righteousness, and hate wickedness: therefore God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness above your companions.

For you are the glory of their strength: and in your favor our horn shall be exalted.

But my faithfulness and my mercy shall be with him: and in my name shall his horn be exalted.

I will set his hand also in the sea, and his right hand in the rivers.

Before the LORD: for he comes, for he comes to judge the earth: he shall judge the world with righteousness, and the people with his truth.

Before the LORD; for he comes to judge the earth: with righteousness shall he judge the world, and the people with equity.

Your right hand, O LORD, has become glorious in power: your right hand, O LORD, has dashed in pieces the enemy.

Rejoice, O young man, in your youth; and let your heart cheer you in the days of your youth, and walk in the ways of your heart, and in the sight of your eyes: but know that for all these things God will bring you into judgment.

For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.

You shall be visited by the LORD of hosts with thunder, and with earthquake, and great noise, with storm and tempest, and the flame of devouring fire.

Behold, a king shall reign in righteousness, and princes shall rule in justice.

Surely, shall one say, in the LORD have I righteousness and strength: even to him shall men come; and all that are incensed against him shall be ashamed.

In that day will I cause the horn of the house of Israel to bud forth, and I will give you the opening of your mouth in the midst of them; and they shall know that I am the LORD.

Then shall the King say to those on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, All power is given to me in heaven and on earth.

And has raised up a horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David;

But those my enemies, who did not want me to reign over them, bring here, and slay them before me.

How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power: who went around doing good, and healing all that were oppressed by the devil; for God was with him.

For of a truth against your holy child Jesus, whom you have anointed, both Herod, and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles, and the people of Israel, were gathered together,

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; so that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to what he has done, whether it is good or bad.

So let all your enemies perish, O LORD: but let those who love him be as the sun when he goes forth in his might. And the land had rest forty years.

Now therefore behold the king whom you have chosen, and whom you have desired! and, behold, the LORD has set a king over you.

Is it not wheat harvest today? I will call unto the LORD, and he shall send thunder and rain; that you may perceive and see that your wickedness is great, which you have done in the sight of the LORD, in asking for a king.

So Samuel called unto the LORD; and the LORD sent thunder and rain that day: and all the people greatly feared the LORD and Samuel.

Behold, here I am: witness against me before the LORD, and before his anointed: whose ox have I taken? or whose donkey have I taken? or whom have I defrauded? whom have I oppressed? or from whose hand have I received any bribe to blind my eyes therewith? and I will restore it to you.

And Samuel said to him, The LORD has torn the kingdom of Israel from you this day, and has given it to a neighbor of yours, that is better than you.

And the LORD said to Samuel, How long will you mourn for Saul, seeing I have rejected him from reigning over Israel? fill your horn with oil, and go, I will send you to Jesse the Bethlehemite: for I have provided for myself a king among his sons.

And as Samuel was offering up the burnt offering, the Philistines drew near to battle against Israel: but the LORD thundered with a great thunder on that day upon the Philistines, and overcame them; and they were struck down before Israel.
